Low yield

Causes:
  1. The flat-die is first used. The smooth finish of the nib is poor.
  2. The Moisture content of the goods is much higher or lower.
  3. The gap between the press roll and flat-die is large.

Solutions:
  1. With oil grinding and lubrication, the feed pellet mill work for some time and the yield is increased.
  2. Adjust the moisture of the goods.
  3. Adjust the compression bolt.
 

Mills contain too much powder

Causes:
  1. The moisture content is much lower.
  2. The express wear of the flat-die.

Solutions:
  1. Increase the moisture content.
  2. Change a new flat-die.

Rough surface

Causes:

  1. The moisture content is much lower.
  2. The express wear of the flat-die.

Solutions:
  1.  Reduce the moisture content.
  2. The pellet mill should run with the oil grinding and lubrication.

Abnormal noise 

Causes:

  1. There are some sundries in the pellet machine.
  2. The bearing doesn’t work.
  3. Loose parts.

Solutions:

  1. Clean away the sundries.
  2. Change a new bearing.
  3. Strengthening parts.
